The cherry blossoms have been depicted on red and pink washi paper. The unified brown of the furniture and fittings expresses tranquility, while bringing out the vividness of the blossoms.

The Hirosaki Neputa Matsuri festival is designated as an important intangible folk cultural heritage of Japan. The “Neputa Bayashi” festival folk music brings together rallying cries of festival participants and the sounds of musical instruments such as drums, flutes and gongs aimed at encouraging souls onto Neputa paper floats and firing up the blood of Tsugaru region folk.
